Amin Aaliwica
Painter
Born in Casablanca in 1971, he has developed a self-taught, transdisciplinary practice across painting, drawing, music, poetry, theatre, performance and space. His training in architecture and environmental design at ART’COM informs his thinking about space and matter.
Approach and materials
He works by themes, each inquiry tackled through the most fitting medium. Between earth and sky, he creates immersive experiences that anchor body and mind in the present: prayers, rituals, Amazigh memory, trance.
