Artcanes is an art and cultural space based in Dakar. It supports Senegalese, African and international artists, and welcomes the public, collectors, institutions and partners.
One venue, three spaces
Gallery
The first two levels host solo and group exhibitions by emerging and established artists.
Concept store
The third level presents designs by Senegalese and African designers, between fashion, design and lifestyle.
Maison de l’Art, Toubab Dialaw
Artcanes’ branch for artists’ residencies, between the hill and the lagoon.
Eight artists, two shores
A project led by Espace Artcanes with the Moroccan associations ARKANE and Art First, as part of the OFF label of the 16th Dakar Biennale.
